Description

Numbers 25 to 47 (odd), along with the surrounding area railings, date from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of stock brick, with some patching, and feature coped parapets. The roofs are not visible. They are arranged as three storeys and basements, although number 43 is a notable exception, standing as four storeys and basement. Each building has two sash windows; approximately half of these windows contain glazing bars. The doorcases are round-headed, with rusticated surrounds, vermiculated stone quoins, and mask keystones. Each doorway has a fanlight above a six-panelled door. Iron area railings are present and topped with urn finials. Numbers 15 to 21 (odd) and 25 to 47 (odd) are grouped together visually.
