Description
Numbers 97-103 and attached railings form a group of four houses, built in the late 18th century as part of a terrace. The houses are constructed of brick and have a slate mansard roof with dormers behind a coped parapet. Each house has three storeys, a basement, and an attic, with three bays. The front doors have cornice heads and simple fanlights within round-arched openings, featuring plain reveals. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within flat, gauged-brick arches; the windows of number 101 have been fitted with concrete lintels following war damage. The first-floor windows of numbers 97 and 99 are taller and include cast-iron guards. The interior of the houses has not been inspected. Cast-iron area railings are a subsidiary feature. Numbers 91-117 (odd) form a group.
