Description

87, Camberwell Grove is an early 19th-century house, part of a terrace located on the east side of Camberwell Grove. The house is constructed of stucco and features a coped parapet. It is arranged over three storeys and a basement, with three bays. A two-column Ionic porch fronts the central bay, sheltering a six-panel door with a decorative fanlight and side lights, all set beneath a segmental-arched opening. The sash windows have glazing bars, with the ground-floor windows featuring bracketed sills and a key pattern moulding below. The first-floor centre window is flanked by paired pilasters and has an entablature and scrolled cresting above. A sill band with rosettes runs across the first floor. The interior of the house was not inspected during the listing process.
