Description

White Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Grove Lane in Southwark. The building is constructed of stucco and features a pitched slate roof with red ridge tiles. It stands two stories high and has one bay with two openings on the ground floor, designed in the Gothick style. The gable end faces the street and is adorned with decorative timber barge-boards and a finial at the apex. The entrance door, which is from the 20th century, and the sash windows both have Tudor arches and hoodmoulds, along with Gothick glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
