Description

Fremont is an early 19th-century house located on Mill Lane. The building is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays. Notable architectural details include a first-floor sill band, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course with a central panel. The windows are sashed and do not have glazing bars. There is a central enclosed Ionic porch with an entrance framed in an architrave. Above this entrance, there is a window that also has an architrave, frieze, and a consoled cornice. The right side of the house has a two-storey canted bay window, and the entrance is flanked by iron lamp bases.
