Description
Basil Grange Lodge is a mid-19th century lodge constructed of stone with a slate roof. It has a layout in the shape of an “L” and a single storey. The lodge features an entablature and two canted bay windows, each with its own entablature and pediment, containing tripartite sash windows with rounded heads. A porch situated in an angle of the building incorporates fluted iron columns with Egyptian capitals; two bays are now enclosed, and there is a boxed entablature. A plain stone range extends to the east, likely added later. A central stone stack is present.
