Description

Gwalia is a mid-19th century house constructed of stone with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and features five bays, with the first bay recessed and the end three bays projecting. The design includes a first-floor sill band, a top frieze, and bracketed eaves, along with quoins. The windows are adorned with architraves, and those on the first floor have floating cornices. The second bay supports a tower that includes angle pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and a pierced balustrade, with narrow windows. The entrance in the second bay is round-headed and has a recessed surround. The house has been derelict since 1984, with the entrance and some windows boarded up, although some windows still retain remnants of sashes with glazing bars.
