Description
No. 34 Newark Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of stock brick. It features a parapet, and the roof is not visible. The structure has three storeys and a basement, with two windows on the front. The first and second floor windows have gauged flat arches, while the first-floor windows are set within round arched recesses. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. There is a brick band below the coping and a stone band at the first floor. Iron balconies are present at the first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a round-headed door with a segmental fanlight, framed by thin fluted columns.
No. 34 is part of a group with Nos. 28 to 42 (even) and St Augustine with St Philip's Church on Stepney Way.
