Description
This is a terrace of five houses located on Pratt Street, dating from the 19th century, with earlier origins. The houses are built of yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco on the ground floors and plain stucco on the first floor, marked by a continuous band. The terrace is three storeys high and generally has two windows per house, except for number 82, which is double-fronted with three windows (the central windows being blind). The ground floor openings are round-arched, aside from the doorway and right-hand window of number 82, and the entrance to number 90, which has a 20th-century doorway on a single-window return. Number 82 features a square-headed doorway with wooden flanking pilasters, a fanlight, and a panelled door. The other doorways have fluted quarter columns, shell-patterned fanlights, and panelled doors. The sashes on the upper floors have intersecting tracery, and are set within gauged brick flat arches. A stucco parapet sits atop the building, with a cornice that has been cut back. The interiors of the houses have not been inspected.
