Description

Numbers 31 and 33 Camberwell Grove are a pair of early to mid-19th-century houses built as part of a terrace. The houses are constructed of stock brick with a banded stucco ground floor, topped with coped brick parapets. They are three storeys high with a basement, and each house has two bays. Steps lead up to the front doors, which have plain timber surrounds and patterned oblong fanlights above. The sash windows have glazing bars, set within flat, gauged-brick arches. A stucco sill band runs along the first floor. The interior of the houses has not been inspected. Attached cast-iron handrails and area railings, with urn finials at intervals, are also part of the listed structures. The properties form a group with numbers 15, 17, 21-29, and 35-45 (odd) on Camberwell Grove.
