Description
Number 21 is a house built around 1800 as part of a terrace. It’s constructed of stock brick with a later slate mansard roof extension hidden behind a parapet. The house has three storeys and a basement, and is two bays wide. The entrance door is on the left side and has a simple timber surround with a radial fanlight above, all set within a round-headed arch constructed of gauged bricks. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; there is only one window on the ground floor, which is tripartite. All windows have gauged brick arches, with those on the ground and first floors being flat, and those on the second floor slightly curved. The interior of the house has not been inspected. Original area railings are a notable feature.
