Description
Numbers 142 and 144 are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from amber brick and feature a parapet. The buildings rise three storeys above a stucco basement and have two bays, with one-bay outer entrance extensions. The entrance on the right has two storeys and a basement, while the entrance on the left has one storey and a basement. There are steps leading up to the original round-headed doors, which have mutule cornice heads and fanlights, along with a stucco band at the spring. The ground floor features sash windows with glazing bars, with the round-headed windows set in round-arched recesses and a stucco band at the spring. The upper floors have sash windows with flat, gauged-brick arches. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there are wrought-iron area railings as subsidiary features.
