Description
2 St Mary's Road is a villa built around 1845. It features multi-coloured stock brick with red brick and stucco dressings, topped with a hipped slate roof that has paired brackets supporting the deep eaves soffit. The building stands two storeys high with a basement and consists of three bays. A stucco prostyle Doric porch with square columns and an architrave surrounds the door. The villa has sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are adorned with stucco architraves, cornices, and bracketed sills, while the first-floor windows have flat, gauged-brick arches. The interior has not been inspected. This building, along with Nos 2-6 St Mary's Road and Nos 152 to 158 Queens Road, is part of a group.
