GV II Detached house. c1845. Amber brick with some stucco, pitched slate roofs with deep, bracketed eaves. Two storeys and stucco basement, three bays, right two slightly projecting under gable, left bay with two small windows on ground floor and gablet over first floor window. One-storey set back stucco entrance extension to right hand side. Main ground-floor sash windows with glazing bars have moulded stucco architraves with bracketed sills and cornices. One sash, one casement window with glazing bars to ground left-hand bay which has loggia with patterned cast-iron supports and bracketed lead canopy. First-floor sash windows with glazing bars have flat, gauged-brick arches.

INTERIOR: not inspected.

Nos 152, 154, 156 and 158 (qv) and Nos 2-6 (even) (qqv) St Mary's Road form a group.
