Description
Gaddon Leaze is a detached house built around 1840. It features a stucco exterior and a hipped synthetic slate roof. The house has a double depth central staircase plan, with the main rooms located on either side of the central entrance and a rear service wing. It has two storeys and end stacks with brick shafts.
The front exterior is symmetrical with a three-window range. The first floor has hornless sash windows, with three panes above and six below. The ground floor includes a central glazed porch supported by turned wooden posts on a brick plinth, leading to a doorway with panelled reveals, a quarter glazed panelled door, and a rectangular overlight with glazing bars. The left-hand elevation features two 2-light casement windows on the first floor, each with 21 leaded panes, and two similar windows on the ground floor, consisting of two and three lights respectively. The rear of the house has irregular fenestration.
