Description

This is a pair of houses located on Cobourg Road, dating to around 1800. They are constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings and have a brick parapet. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement, and each has two bays. There are one-bay entrance extensions of two storeys attached to either side. Steps lead up to round-arched doorways that have impost blocks. The doorways are topped with a 3/4 Doric column arrangement and a mutule cornice. Fanlights are above the doors. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within gauged, flat brick arches; the first-floor windows are in round-arched recesses with a stucco band at the curve and sills. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
