Description
51 and 53 Cobourg Road are a pair of houses built around 1820-1825. They are constructed of brick and feature a plain parapet. The buildings rise three storeys and include a basement, each having one bay with recessed outer entrance bays. The round-headed recessed doorways have fanlights, with the doorway for No. 51 showcasing radial glazing bars. The houses have sash windows, most of which include glazing bars that extend the full height. The ground-floor windows are adorned with gauged-brick round arches, while those on the upper floors have gauged flat brick arches. The interior has not been inspected. Nos. 47-63 (odd) nearby form a group with these houses.
