Description
No. 2 Queens Road is a house dating from the early 19th century, with a later extension. It is constructed of brown brick and features stucco dressings, a porch, and a rusticated basement. The building has a pitched roof with overhanging bracketed eaves on the gable front. It stands two storeys tall with a basement and has three bays, along with a one-storey entrance extension to the right. The porch includes a round-headed door with a vermiculated keystone, a dentil cornice, and a blocking course. The house has four-paned sash windows; the ground-floor windows have stucco architraves and cornices, while the first-floor windows feature moulded stucco architraves and bracketed sills, with the centre window adorned with a triangular pediment on console brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
