Description
Nos. 6, 8, and 10 on Queen's Road are a terrace of three houses that have been converted into shops and offices. They were built around 1700 and have undergone some later alterations. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings and feature a high-pitched, hipped pantiled mansard roof with dormers set behind a parapet. Each house has three storeys and an attic, with two bays each, and there are two-storey, one-bay extensions on either side of the main block. The ground floor has 20th-century projecting shop fronts in the forecourts, and the door to No. 10 is located in the left extension, framed by a stucco architrave. The upper floors have near-flush framed windows, mostly sash, with flat, gauged red brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
