Detached villa. 1843. Amber brick with hipped slated roof and gables with barge-boards; stucco dressings. Playful Gothic style. L-plan. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with 3-bay rear elevation. Stucco door surround, with small quatrefoil motif raised over centre. Front sash windows with glazing bars in projecting, gabled bay with canted ground-floor corners. Ground-floor window tripartite with slightly cambered brick arch and moulded stucco string above; 1st-floor window with flat, gauged-brick arch. Another barge-boarded gable to left return. INTERIOR: not inspected. Nos 1-7 (consec) and No.10 (qqv) form a group.
