Description

Ewbank Grove consists of a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1836. They are constructed of amber brick and feature a low-pitched, hipped slate roof with projecting, bracketed eaves. The houses are two storeys high with a basement and each has two bays. The ground-floor openings are round-arched and have a stone springing band. There are steps leading up to the doors located in the outer bays, which have panelled reveals, patterned fanlights, Doric columns, and a cornice head. The sash windows have glazing bars; those on the ground floor are set in round-arched recesses, while those on the first floor have flat, gauged-brick arches and a stone sill band. The interior has not been inspected.
