Description
This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 6 to 12 Russell Grove. Each house is two storeys high with a basement, and has two windows. The construction is of stock brick with a stuccoed basement, a decorative frieze, a cornice, and a parapet. A band runs along the first-floor cill. The parapet is raised to a pediment-like shape above the two end houses, which slightly project. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within stucco-lined reveals on the first floor, with gauged flat brick arches above. Similar windows, in moulded architraves, are on the ground floor. The doorways are framed by decorative surrounds featuring a modillion cornice.
