Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 12 to 18 Rectory Grove. The terrace has a slightly curved facade. Each house is two storeys high with an attic and basement, and features two windows. The exterior is mainly stock brick, with a horizontal band beneath the first-floor windows and a decorative frieze. A stucco cornice and blocking course run along the top of the facade. The roofs are slated, with mansard design and segment-headed dormers, and central chimney walls. Windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within arches of gauged brick, recessed within a segmental arch on the ground floor. The front doors are half-glazed and sit within surrounds of stuccoed entablatures.
