Description

This is an early to mid-19th century villa located on Vassall Road. It is two storeys high with an attic and basement, and has three windows. The villa is constructed of stucco with incised lines, and originally featured a parapet front, though the cornice has been lost. The roof is a tall, slated mansard roof with three flat dormers. It has sash windows with glazing bars, set within moulded architraves. The ground floor windows have console bracketed cornices. A similar treatment, but with a pediment, is applied to the six-panel front door, which has a patterned rectangular fanlight above. The door is accessed by six stone steps with cast iron ornamental handrails.
