Description

- Wing of former mansion. Late C18 or early C19 building with side to road and main front (on right return) of one storey, three bays, defined by enriched Doric order with egg and dart moulding to echinus of pilasters, paterae between triglyphs and between mutules cf cornice; and tall balustraded parapet. Round-arched windows in recesses with moulded architraves and enriched pilasters. Door in left arch. At right a two storey one window section with open pediment holding a lunette. Venetian window with delicate bars on ground floor. Set back at west; end a stable range of five bays decreasing in width from a wide centre. Flat pilasters support frieze, cornice and parapet with central pediment and cupola. Road front of incised stucco with one tripartite window and a small casement. Wide segmental bow at rear has three sash windows with bars. West section blank but for one round upper window.
