Description

The Church of the Holy Spirit, built between 1912 and 1913 by H Berke Downing, features a long nave with a large wheel window at the west end. There is a small bell turret that is positioned off center. The right side of the building has a battlemented tower bay that contains the entrance. The south side showcases three wide bays, each with two pairs of tall lancet windows, separated by tall stepped buttresses. The north side also has paired lancets. The church is constructed of brown brick with stone dressings, and there are modern extensions to the north.
