Description
Linton House is a villa built in the third quarter of the 19th century. It features a wide, three-bay design with two storeys and a basement. The structure is made of stock brick with stone dressings, including a banded basement and a top entablature that has a modillion cornice and a blocking course. The sash windows are adorned with architraves and cills, with those on the ground floor having a console bracketed cornice and a pediment. The central tetrastyle Corinthian portico, which is now glazed in, has a balcony above it and balustraded stops.
