Description

Nos. 52 and 54 on Portland Grove, built in the early to mid-19th century, form a pair of two-storey houses with two windows each. They are constructed of stock brick and feature a stuccoed plinth, a top entablature, and a blocking course. The later 19th-century sash windows have stucco architraves. Each house has a central paired six-panel door with a plain fanlight, all set under round gauged brick arches. These properties are included in the listing mainly for their group value.
