Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of houses located on Kennington Park Road. It comprises three pairs of three-storey-over-basement, two-window houses, linked by narrower, two-storey-over-basement entrance sections. Number 114 has an added storey to its outer bay. The houses are built of stock brick with stucco detailing, including a cornice, blocking course, impost band, and arcaded ground floor. The ground floor features gauged flat brick arches over sash windows with glazing bars. A run of seven steps, with cast iron handrails, leads to six-panel doors, each with a reeded head and patterned fanlight set in an alternating block surround with vermiculate rustication and a triple keystone. Number 114 has patterned cast iron window guards on its ground floor. Most of the houses have area railings or grids. Numbers 122 and 124 have low-pitched front gables with split lunette attic windows, while the others have slated mansards with dormers.
