Description

This is a mid-19th century building, possibly incorporating older elements, located on Kennington Park Road. It is a three-storey building with a single window front. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a stone-coped parapet. The sash windows have cambered arches. A shop front projects from the ground floor and overlaps with the adjacent building at No. 178. The shop front has a curved south-east corner, and its windows are framed by attached, fluted Ionic columns supporting an entablature with a modillion cornice. The glazing on the shop front appears to be from the mid-19th century. The building is included on the list primarily for the merit of its shop front.
