Description

No. 178 Kennington Park Road is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features three windows. It is constructed of reddish brick and has a stone-coped parapet along with a fairly high-pitched pantiled roof. The windows, which are set under gauged brick arches, have been altered to include 19th-century or modern casements. There are cast iron ornamental guards on the first floor. The entrance, located in the right bay, has been modified, and the other ground floor bays are covered by a projecting modern shop. This building is included for its group value.
