  1. Part of the Duchy of Cornwall development of 1913-14 by Adshead and Ramsey. Corner building with 4 bays both to Kennington Lane and to Courtenay Street and a 3-window concave quadrant angle. Three storeys. Pink brick with dressings of Roman cement, including balustraded parapet, bands at second floor and at first and second floor cills. Arcaded ground floor with impost band. Sash windows with glazing bars under flat red gauged brick arches (except for central taller tripartite first floor window with elliptical patterned head and incised oval panel above). First floor windows have louvred shutters (except in quadrant) and open to full width patterned cast iron balcony. In quadrant a central prostyle pedimented porch whose columns have Prince of Wales' feather capitals.
