Description
The former stable building, now occupied by Ribbans Engineering Company, is a small, symmetrical structure from the early 19th century, featuring two storeys. It has a three-bay center and one-bay sides, topped with a low-pitched hipped slate roof. The pediment above the center section includes a blocked lunette. The building is constructed of stock brick.
On the first floor, there are round-arched loading doors on either side and a flat-headed central door, which is flanked by low windows. All of these openings have gauged brick arches. The central ground floor carriage entrance has openings with a wood lintel, which may have been replaced. A stone band runs along the first floor. There have been alterations to the ground floor on the left bay, while the right bay is obscured by a later fence.
