Description
No. 225 Archway Road is a mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys tall and features three windows, along with a slightly projecting two-storey right wing that has two windows. The villa has low-pitched, hipped roofs covered with slate, which are supported by long, moulded paired brackets at the eaves. The exterior is constructed of pale grey brick, accented with brick quoins. The recessed sash windows are adorned with gauged yellow brick arches that have keystones; the first-floor windows are segmental, while those on the ground floor are round. The entrance features a half-glazed door topped with a rectangular fanlight, all framed in a shouldered moulded architrave. Additionally, there is a prostyle Ionic porch that includes a dentil cornice.
