Description

Bank Point Cottage is an early 18th-century building with alterations from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It is a three-storey, three-window structure facing the front. The rear elevation is only two storeys high, as the ground floor is a basement. The front is stuccoed with a parapet. The hipped tiled gambrel roof has two early 19th-century flat dormers. A central, two-storey porch projection, dating from the mid-19th century, features a large window with round-headed lights on the first floor. Other windows have moulded architraves, friezes, and cornices and contain sash windows with glazing bars. Red brick north extensions, originally stables, are also present.
