Description

The monument located in the yard of the former Church of St John the Baptist in Wallbrook is dated 1884. It features a simple, classical design consisting of three stages on a stepped base, with angle pilasters. This monument marks the communal burial place of human remains that were unearthed when the District Railway was cut through part of the churchyard.
