Description

This is a chest tomb located at the extreme northwest corner of the churchyard of St John the Baptist in Niton and Whitwell. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of stone. The tomb features a moulded base and top, with arches on each side that are decorated with trefoil designs in the spandrels.
