GV II

Terraced houses, now offices with public house to ground floor. Late C18. Brown brick set in Flemish bond, roof obscured by parapet. Four storeys, three windows each. No 55 appears to have fascia, cornice and bracketed fascia stops of C19 date; the rest, and ground floor fronts to nos 53 and 54, are late C20 replacements. Upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads and 6/6 sashes of original design; original rainwater head between nos 53 and 54; parapet. (Historians' file, English Heritage London Division).
