Description

Numbers 26-34 are a row of nine terraced houses built around 1773. Houses 26-30 were rebuilt in the 20th century to resemble the original design, while houses 31-34 have had their top floors restored. The buildings are constructed of yellow stock brick, with houses 26-30 featuring multi-coloured stock brick. Houses 30-33 have a stone band at the first floor. The properties are four storeys high with basements, and houses 26-30 include attics and dormers. Each house has three windows. The wooden doorcases are adorned with Corinthian three-quarter columns, and house 34 has pilasters. They also feature fluted friezes with roundels and dentil cornices, along with patterned fanlights. House 29 has a service entrance instead of ground floor windows. The recessed sash windows have gauged brick flat arches, with houses 31-34 using brown brick. House 34's ground floor windows are framed by stone architraved surrounds. The buildings have parapets. The interiors have not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings in front of the areas.
