Description
Number 21 and 25 are two terraced houses built around 1773 by C. Cole and J. Gorham. They are constructed of brown brick, with Number 21 featuring a third floor made of multi-colour stock brick, and both houses have slate roofs with dormers. The buildings rise to four storeys, including attics and dormers, with Number 21 having two windows and Number 25 having three windows. Each house has wood doorcases adorned with Corinthian three-quarter columns, fluted friezes with roundels, and dentil cornices, along with patterned fanlights. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged yellow brick flat arches, with Number 21 featuring red arches on the second and third floors. Both houses have parapets. The interiors have not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings as subsidiary features.
