Description

No. 2 Keats Grove is an early 19th-century terraced house, altered in the 20th century with the addition of a basement extension. The house is constructed of stucco, with a slated mansard roof and dormers. It is two storeys high with an attic and basement, and has a double-fronted facade with three windows. A projecting 20th-century portico provides access via a round-arched doorway, which has a patterned fanlight and a panelled door approached by steps. The portico features a cornice and blocking course. The windows are architraved casements with continuous bracketed sills and margin glazing. The windows to the right of the entrance are contained within a full-height segmental bowed bay. A cornice and a quasi-battlemented parapet complete the facade. The interior was not inspected.
