Description

Numbers 108 and 109 are a pair of terraced houses from the mid-19th century, which have been adapted for use as a restaurant and office. The buildings are finished in stucco with a rusticated ground floor and feature a slate mansard roof with dormers. They rise to four storeys, including attics and basements or cellars, with two windows each. A pilaster runs along the party wall line, extending from the first to the third floors. The sash windows are architraved and diminish in size towards the roof, while the first floor has console bracketed cornices. There is a cornice and blocking course at the top. Number 108 has a 20th-century restaurant frontage and door, while number 109 features a square-headed, recessed doorway with a keystone, fanlight, and a four-panelled door, along with a 20th-century ground floor window. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached to the buildings are cast-iron railings with tasselled spearhead finials.
