Description
This is a terrace of three houses built around 1835 to 1844. They are constructed from yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco ground floors and feature slated mansard roofs with dormers. The buildings are three storeys high, with attics and basements, and each house has two windows. Number 33 has a blind return to Swinton Place. The doorways are segmental-arched and include fluted quarter columns, fanlights, and panelled doors, with the door for Number 33 located on the return. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and recessed sashes with glazing bars, while the first floor features cast-iron balconies. The houses also have stucco cornices and blocking courses. Although the interiors have not been inspected, there are attached cast-iron railings with tasselled spearhead finials.
