Description
Number 65, built around 1835-1839 by William Cubitt, is a single-storey stucco building located on the west side of Cubitt Street. It features a splayed corner extension with one blind window and a sash window on the corner, along with two additional windows (one blind) and an entrance facing Cubitt Street. The entrance includes a square-headed doorway with panelled jambs, a cornice-head, an overlight, and a panelled door. The building has a stucco parapet. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the building are cast-iron railings with bud finials at the corner. Together with No.34 Cubitt Street, which has a similar extension, it creates the appearance of lodges at the entrance to Cubitt Street.
