Description
Number 34 is a single-story corner extension dating from approximately 1835 to 1839, designed by William Cubitt. Constructed of rusticated stucco, it forms an extension to Number 7 Frederick Street. The extension has a splayed corner and features one window on the corner and another on the return. It has recessed sash windows, a square-headed entrance with an overlight, and a panelled door. A stucco parapet tops the facade. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the Frederick Street elevation are cast-iron railings incorporating bud finials. When viewed with Number 65 Cubitt Street, the extensions give the impression of lodges marking the entrance to Cubitt Street.
