Description

Two attached terraced houses, built around 1835 to 1890, by the architect William Cubitt. The houses are constructed with channelled stucco, with rusticated stucco on the ground floor. They are three storeys high, with attics and basements, and each house has two windows. Both houses feature prostyle, pedimented stucco porticoes, topped with a palmette acroterion. The doorways have panelled jambs, cornice heads, fanlights, and panelled doors. The windows are tripartite sashes, with architraves above the first and second floors. The first-floor windows have console-bracketed narrow pediments and cast-iron balconies. A 20th-century string replaces the original cornice. The interiors were not inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with thistle finials mark the areas.
