Shop with offices above. C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. 2 windows, 3 storeys. Red/brown brick; the upper floor added early C19 in red brick with string at 2nd floor and parapet. Concrete plaintiled roof. Early C19 windows with flat arches of gauged brick, large-pane C20 replacement sashes. C20 glazed entrance door within C18 surround: fluted flat pilasters and head and moulded cornice, sunk panelled reveals and oblong fanlight. Limestone steps. Projecting C20 wooden and plate-glass shopfront. A good mid C18 staircase at 1st floor has moulded handrails and turned balusters and newels with drop-finials. A gabled 2-story C18 wing at rear: painted brick, plaintiles, small-pane sash windows facing into the adjacent carriageway entrance to left.
