Description

This barn, located immediately southwest of Slade's Holding, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The structure consists of three long bays, each featuring pairs of corresponding primary braces and bisected studs. The roof is divided into six bays, which do not align with the wall bays, and includes two rows of stepped butt-purlins and straight collars. Arched braces support the straight tie-beams in the trusses. This barn is included for its group value context.
