1/152 Barn approx. 5 metres north of Sloman's Farmhouse

GV II Barn. Early C18. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded, roof thatched. 5 bays aligned approx. N-S, with midstrey to E. Lean-to extensions with corrugated iron roofs on both sides of midstrey. Roof half-hipped at both ends. Hardwood main frame, jointed and pegged. Face-halved and bladed scarfs in wallplates. Primary straight bracing. Bolted hanging knees to tiebeams. Clasped purlin roof.
