Description

Glenwood Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is timber framed, with a plastered and weatherboarded exterior, and features a thatched roof. It has four bays facing southeast and a central stack. To the left, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension with a flat roof. On the right, a single-storey link unit with a red tiled roof connects the house to a garage block. The cottage is one storey high with attics. The ground floor has four 20th-century casement windows, while the first floor features one 19th-century casement and one horizontally sliding sash window, each with four lights, set in tiled swept dormers. There are two plain boarded doors, primary straight bracing, and a clasped purlin gambrel roof.
